He felt his knees getting weak so he leaned against the wall, "What did ya need boss?" He asked, watching him pace the room before he stopped and looked at Dice, "I wanna make a bet, and I know you love my bets Dicey." Dice loves the Devils bets along with that nickname he used, "What would I be getting myself into?" He asked watching as the devil walked towards him, "Nothing much, I've been watching a fellow eye you up for a while, tall and rather good looking. Butterflies filled his stomach as he walked through the crowded casino floor, once he reached the boss office he walked in hearing the soft click, the devil locked the door. "King Dice, my office now." Dice looked up, where he was leaning against the doorframe that leads to his office. A little while later while Dice was convincing a man to bet more money he heard Boss call him. Dice sighed, smiling lightly as he when back to his rounds.
The Devil patted Die's shoulder before dragging the man off into his office.
Dice and The Devil were a force to reckon with on a bad day. Die was about to retort when he felt the Devil place his hand on his shoulder,"If my man says your cheating your cheating," the man slid off his chair, stumbling back. Then he came across a man, this man had cards hidden up his sleeve, Dice saw this and growled, "No cheating in the boss's Casino." "I-I'm not cheating." the man replied looking up in disgust at Dice. He walked around encouraged some people, tricked others, but he would always be facing the devil. Many different species of people were there, each wearing something flashy or high class. He played with his bow tie before walking out onto the casino floor.
But he knew the boss probably didn't return the same feelings.
Yes, Dice respected the Devil as his boss, but he wanted his relationship to be more than his lackey. He basically showed off every aspect that was lovable, and when the casino doors closed he was soft. There was no surprise that Dice liked the Devil.
